Saturday November 4th 2006 a huge showdown of strength and agility culminated with a Bearcat victory of 41 to 14 against the Pittsburgh State Gorillas. The game was full of incredible passes and running plays. Northwests third string running back averaged about 13 yards per carry. That has to say something about the team and the program if even their third string players are just as talented as their first string. Ok enough of the play by play. My day started off going by tailgating in the parking lot hanging out with friends and cooking good food and drinking fine beverages. I got to the parking lot with my friends around 11 and we hung out listened to MU get defeated by the Corn Shuckers. We had hoped that was not a sign for the days luck. We headed into the game around 2:15 as we watched the Bearcats play like heroes and champions. The half time show performed by the Bearcat Maching band was a very good show as well. I was able to to and visit with many of my old friends in the band. I was even allowed to play a few songs with them. I will be adding pictures to my gallery very soon I will keep you all posted.
