Over the weekend the Northwest Bearcats swept the MIAA tournament. Both the mens and womens basketball teams played very well and took home the victory. The Kansas City star has two really good articles which I have links to below.
Northwest Missouri men win MIAA tournament
Northwest Missouri women beat Southwest Baptist for MIAA tournament title
Way to go Bearcats.

I went to see the movie Bucket list starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. This movie is absolutely amazing one of the best movies of the year and we are not even through the first month. I would highly recommend everyone go see it or rent it. If you do not know what it is about here is a little overview of the movie.
Corprate billionaire Edward Cole and working class mechanic Carter Chambers have nothing in common except for their terminal illnesses. While sharing a hospital room together, they decide to leave it and do all the things they have ever wanted to do before they die according to their bucket list. In the process, both of them heal each other, become unlikely friends, and ultimately find the joy in life.

Hello I just wanted to share with you my most recent project. I decided that adamnutting.com should remain more of my personal site and that I needed something more solely dedicated to my work. Thus NetNutt.com was born.

I am currently a volunteer for a service organization who recently asked if I would be part of their organizing committee. During the info session I was handed a huge book with all of the rules regulations etc. What I found the most interesting was a list of items that the insurance company does not cover.
Here are few of the more normal items.
- Jet Skiis
- Bungee Jumping
- Rock Climbing
- Tackle Football
- Sky Diving
Now the next few items are ones I found particularly interesting.
Total Pollution now how is that different from partial pollution and when did this ever get sanctioned as any kind of athletic sport or activity fit for children?
Nuclear Energy Me: “O come on mom why cant we go play at the power plant today” Mom: “Because son Nuclear Energy just isn’t in our insurance coverage this year.”
Any Stunt Activity I consider driving down I-35 every morning and evening on my commute to work and back to be a “STUNT” Does that mean that my driving is not covered?
Terrorism Now I want to know who did what in order to get this on the list. O Jimmy that little terrorist always blowing stuff up, accidentally blew off his arm while trying to send the Jenson’s Cat flying across the pond in his make shift rocket launcher. Boys will be boys…
In all seriousness has the world come to an agreement that the insurance companies have to spell everything out and have to tell them we will cover you if you wreck your car but if you get sick while eating the lead paint chips off your wall at home we wont cover you? I MEAN COME ON show a little self control and stop eating the paint chips. A little common sense might not hurt either.
On that note its time to go read through my on health benefits and find out what I am not covered for. Who knows I might not be covered for mad cow disease or for trying to walk the dog while playing a guitar and skydiving all at the same time
That is all …………..
I was shopping for groceries today and was getting ready to pick up some milk and what I found was simply just funny.

I mean seriously do milk companies especially BELFONTE not send their product labels and designs through a quality assurance system?
Enough Said.

It is always nice to come up to the farm. It is a very nice change of pace. I sat working last night and it was quite so quiet I could hear the cat outside walking in the snow. Unlike my apartment in the city where I can hear the people walking around upstairs, sirens of passing police cars and fire trucks, even the horns from passing trains. I guess growing up out in the sticks and then moving into the city has me longing to move back. The only downside to living in the sticks is that there really aren’t a lot of jobs out there and to get to the cities where there are jobs is quite the drive. Maybe someday when I am old and rich I can move back to the sticks where it is quiet and less busy.
It was great to spend time with the family and see all the little ones running around while the old folks chatted about everything under the sun. One cant talk about thanksgiving with out talking about the great food. I don’t think I will need to eat for at least a week. I figure I can splurge 3 times a year, and Thanksgiving is one of them.
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Now as we look forward towards Christmas and the New Year we can definitely give thanks for the many great things in our lives over the past year.
