Where to begin. As of the beginning of the month I was laid off. So I have started working on a few projects for both myself and for clients. Kcwebgeeks.com has been growing steadily and Kansascitybands.net is coming along nicely. I will be moving into a new apartment not to far from where I currently live at the end of the week. I’m still hunting for a job but not worrying about it to much. Camp Quality this summer was a total blast. I however miss the kids and everyone who made the week simply amazing.
More of the saga to come. I might even have some photos
Well As the summer gets started I am like always getting busier as the days roll past. Lots of new projects opportunities and experiences to explore. I will start with a brief recap of the projects that I have been working on.
KCWebGeeks.com is a side project a few friends of mine decided to come together and start a small web development company. We all had side projects and clients we do work for on the side. This project was to combine our knowledge, skill sets, and connections to help our clients to best of our abilities.
kansascitybands.net This is the flagship project. I have been working on the idea and the details of the project for the past 2 years. Now its starting to take shape and should be a very interesting to watch as it evolves.
Those two projects have kept me pretty busy.
Now comes the fun part. Camp Quality Northwest Missouri’s week long summer camp is just around the corner. Training is on the 17th of this month so equipment is being checked and double checked. Lots of neat things are going to be happening there this year. More news to come
After seeing this commercial on TV the other day I was moderately amused. Watch the video and for your own opinion before I tell you mine.
Seriously what kind of people do toy makers employ they are starting to get as bad as Disney.
In all seriousness I don’t think I would have wanted to play with this as a kid. O wait I lied how cool would it have been to shoot a giant snot rocket at your friends from a few feet away. Gotta love it.
I walked out of my apartment this morning and there it was a Volvo 1800. This is a very rare car. If you would like to read more about it you can read more about it here. Below you will find some photos of the car I took this morning.
I really was not sure what it was and decided to take a photo of it. I knew it was a Volvo for the simple reason it sad Volvo on the back.
The car got its claim to fame in a TV series called The Saint. The car in the series was a white 1800 driven by Simon Templar (Roger Moore).
This is the second car I have seen parked outside my apartment that you do not see often. The first car was a Ferrari that you can see from an older post titled And There It was .
Seeing these cars out there has been a real treat and I hope to continue to see these rare visions around Kansas City. If you have had any rare car experiences around please feel free to share your experiences.
